1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using SlickRide mobile application and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the terms, do not use our services.
These terms apply to all users, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.
2. Description of Service
SlickRide is a ride-sharing platform that connects riders with drivers through our mobile application. Our services include:
- Real-time ride matching and booking
- GPS tracking and navigation
- Secure payment processing
- Driver and rider rating system
- Customer support and dispute resolution
- Trip history and receipts
3. User Responsibilities
As a Rider, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information for ride requests
- Be ready at pickup location on time
- Treat drivers and vehicles with respect
- Follow safety guidelines and local laws
- Pay for all completed trips promptly
- Not damage vehicles or property
As a Driver, you agree to:
- Maintain valid driver's license and insurance
- Keep vehicle in safe, clean condition
- Follow traffic laws and regulations
- Provide safe and professional service
- Accept ride requests fairly
- Maintain high rating standards
4. Payment Terms
Payment for rides is processed through our secure payment system. You agree to:
- Provide valid payment information
- Pay all fares, fees, and charges
- Authorize automatic payments for completed rides
- Dispute charges within specified timeframe
- Keep payment methods updated and current
Fares and Pricing:
Ride fares are calculated based on distance, time, demand, and local rates. All prices are displayed before booking confirmation.
5. Cancellation Policy
Rider Cancellations:
- No charge if cancelled within 2 minutes of booking
- Small fee if cancelled 2-5 minutes after booking
- Full fare may apply if cancelled less than 2 minutes before pickup
- Repeated cancellations may affect account status
Driver Cancellations:
- Accept rides you intend to complete
- Contact rider if running late or need to cancel
- Excessive cancellations may affect driver rating
- Valid reasons for cancellation include emergencies and vehicle issues
6. Prohibited Activities
You may not use our service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Transport illegal items or substances
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
- Share false or misleading information
- Use service for criminal activities
- Compete with SlickRide or reverse engineer our technology
- Spam or send unsolicited communications
- Discriminate based on race, gender, religion, or other protected characteristics
7. Intellectual Property
The SlickRide application and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of SlickRide and its licensors. The service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, create derivative works, publicly display, or perform any copyrighted work without our express written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SlickRide shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
Our total liability for any claims arising from these terms or use of service shall not exceed the amount paid by you to SlickRide in the six months preceding the claim.
SlickRide is not responsible for the conduct, whether online or offline, of any user of the service. We are not liable for any errors, omissions, interruptions, deletion or failure of any part of the service.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation.
Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately. All provisions of the terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive.
You may also terminate your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting our support team.
